Mounting The Acrylic
Window
Half way upon completing the case
mod. Now for the acrylic window. I didn't want to use a normal clear acrylic.
I wanted somethign different. I want a tinted window. So when the casing lights
are not on, the interior would not be visiable. Only when the casing lights
are turned on, the interior could be seen.

I got the tinted acrylic from rowell court @ $7.

Silicon was used to secure the acrylic to the side pannel. A little silicon is being applied to the sidepannel and evenly spread out. The acrylic would then later be placed onto the side pannel. As shown above, weight was being applied to the acrylic window so that there won't be any corners that would not be in contact with the side pannel.

Shown on the picture above, I sealed the acrylic to the side pannel by applying silicon as show. There is no worry that the acrylic would fall out. There are may methods of securing the acrylic. For example, 3M double sided tape, nuts and bolts.
